Coyle Engineering, Inc. is among the firms selected for the annual "Aggie 100", a list of the fastest-growing companies owned or led by Texas A&M University graduates. Beth and Mike Coyle are both Aggies, class of 1982, and their civil engineering firm ranked 79th with a 30.58% compounded annual revenue growth from 2003 to 2005.
While there are many ways to define success, the Aggie 100 focuses on growth as an indicator of job creation, product acceptance and entrepreneurial vision.
“We are pleased to honor our successful former students and highlight their accomplishments,“ explained Richard M. Scruggs, Director, Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at the Mays School of Business. “Coyle Engineering has achieved a great deal in its hisotry and we'd like to think that has a lot to do with the work ethic, integrity and knowledge gained from Mike and Beth's association with Texas A&M University.“
The 100 companies were recognized at a formal luncheon on October 13, held at The Zone Club on the Texas A&M University campus. The honorees are also featured in the November 2006 issue of Texas Aggie Magazine and in the October 13 issues of the San Antonio, Houston, Dallas and Austin Business Journals.
